I still can't get it to work based on your suggestions. Anything else I should try?
BTW, My USB730L does not behave the same in terms of needing to be the dominant or only network device on a Windows PC. It happily shares those privileges with my WiFi or Ethernet adapters just fine. Maybe because it's not an AT&T branded product.
I will offer to anydesk into your pc and show you, it will take about a minute and a half to do, you can even record it if you want to and post it back here for others that may have the same problem.
The only other thing I can think of you can try is to use one of the driver updater programs but they tend to mess up more than they ever fix.
That's very generous of you. Any chance we could use Teamviewer instead? Anydesk seems to mess up my system for some reason. Wait...it just occurred to me, you'd need to do it with the the dongle providing WAN capability as that wont' coexist with Ethernet enabled.
I'd be grateful if Rich was still willing to do this. Rich: you probably have my email address from previous emails we've exchahnged.
jonaasmith: I'm not sure if you read the entire thread, but the modem does transfer data now, it's just that the status page doesn't show any numbers changing. It shows all zeroes instead.
