Does anyone know if the MR5100 or MR5200 pull in a bit better signal for LTE compared to the MR1100?
Carrier aggregation or external antenna aside, I just wondered if the faster processor and perhaps a different internal antenna design/spec in the newer model ...

I'm assessing whether I should convert my retail 101NAS unlocked AT&T M1 running fw from 2018 to a more recent generic Netgear version.

I read somewhere that doing so may disable some LTE features, specifically speed enhancements but I cannot find the source any more ...
